Beijing Zhongke Guangxi Institute of Science and Technology (ZHONGXI Institute) is a collectively-owned (share-holding) research and testing unit affiliated with the Beijing Frontier Institute of Science and Technology, a scientific research institution focused on research and testing. ZHONGXI Institute attaches equal importance to basic research and applied research, and combines applied research with technology transformation, developing into a comprehensive institute characterized by 'research driven by tasks'. With the approval of the relevant authorities, it has become a third-party analysis and testing service unit and obtained CMA/CNAS qualifications. It provides R&D design, analysis and testing, test verification, common processing, information and intellectual property services, offering public services for the innovation of technology-based enterprises. The institute has been recognized as a National High-tech Enterprise and a Zhongguancun High-tech Enterprise.

Development History
Beijing Zhongke Guangxi Institute of Science and Technology (ZHONGXI Institute) was established on August 9, 2012 as a collectively-owned unit, a chemical technology research institution focused on research and testing. It attaches equal importance to basic and applied research, combining applied research with technology transformation, and has developed into a comprehensive institute characterized by 'research driven by tasks'. With the approval of the relevant authorities, it has become a third-party analysis and testing service unit and obtained CMA qualification. It provides R&D design, analysis and testing, test verification, common processing, information and intellectual property services. The institute has received government innovation fund support and has been recognized as a National High-tech Enterprise and a Zhongguancun High-tech Enterprise.

In 2012, it was restructured into Beijing Zhongke Guangxi Institute of Science and Technology (collectively-owned) and launched research and testing projects; in 2015, it obtained the CMA metrology qualification certificate and established an analysis and R&D expert group; in 2017, it established long-term service relationships with hundreds of research and testing institutions and public, procuratorial and judicial units across the country; in 2018, it jointly established a laboratory with the Beijing Physical and Chemical Analysis Testing Center; in 2019, it established a joint laboratory with the Beijing Aerospace Test Technology Institute and set up multiple branches nationwide; in 2020, it received the dual recognition of 'Zhongguancun High-tech Enterprise' and 'National High-tech Enterprise', and in 2025 it was honored as a Science and Technology SME.
ZHONGXI Institute's laboratories are established and operated in strict accordance with the ISO 17025 quality management system, comprising seven major laboratories — instrument, analysis, pharmaceutical, food, materials, energy and chemical laboratories — covering more than 8,000 square meters. The laboratories own LC-MS, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, ICP-MS and other large precision instruments, with more than 800 sets of professional analysis and testing equipment with an original value of over 210 million yuan. The laboratories have passed ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management system certifications.
ZHONGXI Institute is a third-party scientific and technological achievement evaluation institution approved by the Zhongke High-tech Enterprise Development Evaluation Center, with a multidisciplinary, high-level and experienced expert team and extensive resources. It participates in tasks of the National Science and Technology Award Office and the National Achievements Network, providing quality services for project approval, investigation and evaluation of national, local and enterprise research projects, as well as scientific achievement appraisal. The institute has high-level consulting capabilities, providing market research, marketing planning and strategic development research services.
ZHONGXI Institute has the scientific research achievement testing qualification recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and is a designated partner of the Zhongke High-tech Enterprise Development Evaluation Center. It has jointly established laboratories with the Beijing Physical and Chemical Analysis Testing Center and the Beijing Aerospace Test Technology Institute, and has set up an expert research group.
